Let's show how we can make a difference by donating at the Happy Hour Rotary Blood Drive on March 21, 2021. Blood donations are in great demand and as Rotarians, we want to show our support by rolling up our sleeves and getting the job done. We want to fill every one of the 32 available slots! We've challenged the Huntersville-Lake Norman Rotary Club and the Davidson Rotary Club to try and beat our club's donations. I'm also looking for two volunteers per shift to volunteer the day of the event taking temperatures and checking in blood donors. Shifts are 10:30-12:30; 12:30-2:30; 2:30-4:30; 4:30-6.
 

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. (Bonus to donating now is the ARC runs an antibody test on your blood donation and will let you know if you have developed antibodies to Covid-19.)
