Community Service – Angels and Sparrows Soup Kitchen

Every summer in June, July and August we volunteer to help make and pack lunches.

The students receiving the lunches are all in North Mecklenburg County. They live in

Huntington Green (Huntersville), Deerhill Apartments (Huntersville), Oakhill

Apartments (Davidson), and the Smithville neighborhood (Cornelius).

The children sign up for the program through Caterpillar Ministries (Huntingon

Green), The Neighborhood Care Center in Cornelius (Smithville), and through the

Management Office at the two apartment complexes. Angels and Sparrows typically

deliver to one central location and the students pick up from there.
